Real Barbeque
Let’s just start here: real barbeque is not a grill (although one is used) or an event (but we love to have ‘em); it’s the way summer tastes in the south: Slow-cooked ribs basted in sauce, pulled pork sandwiches drizzled with spicy goodness, and chicken grilled and flavored to perfection get our barbeque parties going, and they don’t stop there, not by a long shot. Not everyone at Calvert Café & Catering is from the South, but we live here now and we understand how to take care of a barbeque jones. We have put together the perfect cookout event for your office Memorial Day party. Book it today and leave the rest to us; we’ll take care of decorations, supplies, delivery, and setup. And we’ll even clean up for you afterwards! Well, you may have to launder that white shirt yourself…
The Tunes
Everyone who books an event will automatically be entered for a chance to win a NEW 4GB iPod Shuffle.
The Dancing
And in keeping with North Carolina barbeque beach tradition, you will qualify for FREE shagging lessons when you book a party for 50 or more people. Check out these guys (and these!) if you need inspiration, then turn up the tunes and get ready for summer fun.
The Barbeque Video
Oh, and if you need a primer on barbeque arguments nuances in the Southeast, you should check out North Carolina barbeque singers Rhett & Link and the Homestead Pickers.
